Pelviscopic Usefulness for Applying Diagnosis and Treatment of Infertility Patients

Abstract
The indications for pelviscopic surgery have expanded greatly over over the past decades as its many advantages over laparotomy have been reconized. Furthermore, when using pelviscopy, diagnosis and treatment are always achieved during operative
procedure. Growing of gynecological surgeons have adopted a pelviscpic approach to treatment of pelvic disease that could be detrimental to fertility, for example, ectopic pregnancies, adhesions, endometriosis, hydrosalpinges, and myomas. The
most
important points to promote fertility in pelviscopic proeedure are meticulous hemostasis, minimal and gentle tissue handling and constant peritoneal irrigation. And no difference when comparing the prgnancy rates obtained from several reports
with
the
pelviscopic procedure and laparotomy for treatment of etiologic pelvic diseases of infertility. For thios reason, pelviscopic surgery is perferred, when possible, for the woman with impaired fertility. But experience, judgement, level of skill,
personal
preference are all valid factors when considering any surgical procedure. The pelviscopic surgeon specializing in infertility should make a complete infertility evaluation (clinical history, physical examination, basal body temperature chart,
semen
analysis, hormonal evaluation during the follicular and the luteal phase and hysterosalpingogram). Pelviscopic surgery is a safe and effective technigue for the treatment of etiologic peivic disease of infertility.
